About the vacancy

Our client is a fintech company with billions of dollars in revenue whose solutions enhance and optimize financial services globally. They aim to modernize workplace systems used in wealth management investment platforms. DataArt's specialists are modifying and replacing the existing ones, assisting the client in driving business transformation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, remote DevOps Engineer who will join the team managing the platform, focusing on DLT and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for system deployment, troubleshooting, and automating and maintaining current AWS infrastructure with Terraform scripts.

About 700-1000 people are working on this project globally; our team is at about 10 people. The team is mainly located in Saint Petersburg, working on data transformation and ETL. Experience with capital markets and private equity would be a plus!

Technological stack of solution: AWS, Terraform, Amazon, EC2, chef receipt, Jenkins, + checklists.


  • Work on batch processing in Step Functions, Lambda while also using PowerShell and Python
  • Design AWS infrastructure for dotnet application performance and bottleneck testing, track OS resource usage in PerfMon
  • Identify and fix performance issues with our global middleware team
  • Collaborate with the Development, QA, and Security teams throughout application development and deployment
  • Work in an Agile environment

Must have

  • A BA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar subject or equivalent experience si preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in the IT industry developing internal apps; knowledge of daily operations
  • Experience with migrating infrastructure to AWS Cloud
  • Understanding and working knowledge of code repository management, code merge, quality checks, continuous integration, automated development, and management
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, time management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Quick learner who is touch with the DevOps community
  • Spoken English
