About the vacancy

Our client is a US-based travel-tech company that provides a booking engine. They create custom travel booking software for some of the largest brands in travel and financial services. The team is working on the development and modernization of the cloud-based search and booking platform featuring hotel reservations, ground transportation, flights, and ancillary travel product using modern best practices.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle."

Must have

  • 4 or more years of experience in data modeling and data warehousing
  • 5 or more years of experience in software development (Python, Java or Ruby)
  • 3 or more years of experience working with real-time and batch centric Big Data patterns and solutions on the cloud
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of data modelling, data management, and data warehousing
  • Experience working in any of the RDBMS Databases
  • Experience working in any of the cloud DWH solutions like Snowflake, Redshift
  • Experience working on Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL/Mysql preferred
  • Good spoken English
