About the vacancy

The client is a US company that creates solutions for the Travel & Hospitality industry. DataArt's specialists develop a system for flight carriers integration based on the event-driven microservices architecture.

Must have

  • 5+ years of production experience in Java
  • 1+ years of experience with technical team leading
  • Experience in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of OOP, OOD, and design patterns
  • Experience with the Spring/Spring Boot framework
  • Experience with message brokers or event streaming solutions (Apache Kafka as a preference)
  • Experience with microservices development and understanding microservices patterns
  • Understanding of principles of event-driven architecture or experience in this area
  • Skills using tools for automated project building (Maven as a preference)
  • Experience using CI/CD tools (Jenkins or analogs)
  • Experience with TDD/BDD
  • Great communication skills
  • Good spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Knowledge of other programming languages
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS)
  • Experience with caching solutions and in-memory databases
  • Experience in managing a team of 5 or more developers
  • Experience in managing teams including QA, BA, and architects
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Experience in travel industry
