About the vacancy

Our client is a US-based travel-tech company that provides a booking platform that uses modern best practices. Now the team is working on the development of the new mobile client as well as on enhancing and improving the platform.

We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have

  • 3+ years of development experience with Node.js platform
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Knowledge of ES6, TypeScript
  • Understanding of the basic design patterns
  • Understanding Go's concurrency mechanisms
  • Experience with microservices
  • Experience developing and implementing data-driven applications based on MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) solutions
  • Experience with performance optimization in SQL databases
  • Experience writing RESTful APIs and an understanding of the HTTP protocol
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests
  • Understanding business needs
  • Spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Experience with performance optimization in relational databases
  • Experience with gRPC/protobuf, ApacheThrift
  • Experience solving problems on highly loaded systems
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with React.js
