About the vacancy

DataArt’s specialists are currently working on an innovative product in the e-commerce field. Its focus is the wholesale and retail trade of goods for hotels, restaurants, and cafes. The service is an electronic marketplace for European countries that works similar to Amazon.

The product’s first public beta release took place in September 2019. It is written on a new code base using modern technologies and processes.

The work is organized according to the Spotify Agile Framework, i.e. all developers work in small (5-7 people) autonomous and self-sufficient teams. Each team is led by a committee of three specialists: Product Manager, Technical Lead, and UX/UI Designer. The development uses Scrum or Kanban depending on the needs of the team.

The project has built a full-fledged Continuous Deployment process with regular updating of all environments (at least once a day), code review and pull request practices, unit tests, manual and automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, microservice architecture, and modern cloud infrastructure.

The main tools are:

- Google Cloud Platform;

- Docker, Kubernetes;

- PHP 8, Symfony 5.3, Doctrine, PHPUnit, Swagger;

- MySQL 5.7, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB;

- Angular

Must have

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and designing software products for PHP
  • Knowledge of popular frameworks (Symfony is a plus)
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC and modern Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Practical expertise in operating and designing databases (MySQL)
  • Good communication and organizational skills, decision-making skills
  • Good spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Experience with multilingual applications
  • Experience in ERP systems development projects
  • Ability to travel to Europe for on-site work
