About the vacancy

DataArt’s client is a fintech startup. It provides an electronic banking service for Asian countries and works on the principle of digital bank accounts, supplemented by a card. The client’s headquarters are located in Kuala Lumpur, and there are also offices in Singapore and London.

The project is to develop a mobile application and migrate it to Google Cloud. This is a bankless application for making payments from a multicurrency account. The team is responsible for the development of new and the maintenance of existing features on production. The position offers the possibility of growth in the direction of team leader or Cloud architect.

The specialists work in separate subgroups: development team, L1-L2 support, and infrastructure team. The processes are built according to Agile (Scrum).


  • Executing tests on Front End (Web/Mobile) as well as Backend
  • Reporting the status of testing to Product Leads
  • Defining/Reviewing and executing acceptance test scenarios
  • Utilize test management tools

Must have

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with web and mobile applications testing across different platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, methods and processes
  • Solid understanding of mobile technologies and applications
  • Experience in API and Web services testing
  • Knowledge of Gherkin style acceptance testing
  • Be strong in functional and usability testing
  • Spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Experience in developing automation for web and mobile application
  • Experience in load, stress and security testing
