About the vacancy

Our client is a software company providing client management applications to organizations in the healthcare industry. For the past 15 years, DataArt's specialists have been helping them create online intake services for hospitals, medical centers, and private practices in the US. Our team consists of 250+ people largely focusing on integrations, the platform, and the intake process, providing 600+ different services.

As part of the project, people are split into groups which largely focus on integrations, the platform, and the intake application. Each group has their own process. For integrations, we form a general team concentrating on supporting integrations with internal systems, and a team supporting the internal systems themselves. The main focus is on data transformation, service testing, and navigating the way the systems interact. We encourage people to learn more about automation!

Several teams support the platform, working on a range of issues from testing the web UI of the apps to databases and services. If needed, candidates can focus their professional development in the QA/BA direction or QA/QAA.

The team's registry provides services accessible to patients and hospital personnel. In addition to services and web UI testing, the team works on mobile apps, both meant for the general audience and specialized ones.

Must have

  • 2+ years experience in software testing
  • Knowledge of testing basics (test types and methods of organizing them in the process of testing different kinds of applications, skills of test documentation, test cases, and so on.)
  • Good spoken English

Would be a plus

  • Experience in automated testing, and the ability to work with automation tools (Selenium, TestComplete, QTP, etc.)
  • Knowledge and skills in the field of programming (OOP, knowledge of programming languages + SQL, HTML, etc.)
  • Knowledge of database fundamentals and skills to work with the database (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • The ability to learn and master new technologies
